• So this is my first entry here at Xanga. I find myself wondering what to post. I guess I’ll start by mentioning that I’m not really new to the whole online posting concept. Online I’ve done a grand total of one journal entry, but I was a member of a whole bunch of message boards over at EZboard back before it was overloaded with pop-ups. Over there I was known as Shadow81Dan. Perhaps you knew me? I suppose you may recognize that name from any Yahoo euchre or Texas hold em games I played with you at some point.

  Anymore, I just go as shadow if I’m online, which isn’t often considering I don’t own a computer anymore. I can hear all the gasps now! ‘My God!! No computer…what is he? Amish??’ No I am not Amish. My laptop got fried by a lightning strike during the Summer and ever since then I’ve never really missed it all that much. Sure I loved listening to music and being able to talk with all my lunatic friends, but in my own twisted yet deeply philosophic way, I’m happier without it than I was with it.

  That’s something that will be fairly consistent about my personality. I don’t know how committed I will be to this site, but if I get into it and really begin to post often, and in depth about various subjects, you’ll begin to get to know a guy who isn’t necessarily rebellious, but questions everything and has chosen to reject some things that tend to get passed over my many people. While it once was a great weakness of mine, I work very hard not to moralize about the things I have rejected. Not everyone has to make the same choices as me to be right. It’s all a matter of perspective.

  This is the other main thing I would like anyone who happened to stumble into my site to understand. I work extraordinarily hard to be an understanding human being. Very recently I have put a lot of effort into letting go of my incessant need for perfection from those around me. Everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes right? Kinda seeing what I mean about getting philosophic? That’s right baby, I don’t mind it at all if anyone and everyone likes to read my site, but be warned…you stick around and I’m bound to go philosophic on your ass!

  So is it obvious that I like to express myself? It really depends on my mood as to what you will see here. I may be in the mood for a lengthy post like this…I may be in the mood to just post something completely random that makes no sense(perhaps not even to me). It all depends upon what the leprechauns in my head tell me to do.

  I’ve got some other info to update so I’m off to do that. My next post will likely be on Monday since I’m going to see King Kong tomorrow with my Dad and Stepmom. I don’t see many movies with them so hopefully it’ll be a nice day. Speaking of which! I hope you have a nice day and thanks for reading my little corner of the internet.
