Allure
Well tomorrow is Valentines Day a fact of which I’m sure everyone(single or coupled-up) is well aware. Last year at this time I was bashing the day as socially constructed nonsense. This year though, I figure I’ll take a different approach. Yeah it’s only one day, but I’ve decided here on my little corner of the internet to make this whole week Valentines Week. So each entry for this week will be a little more on the romantic side and a little less on the random/philosophic side.
To kick things off, I think I’ll just ask a question;
What kind of attributes do you find most alluring?
Cleary this is one of those no-wrong-answer types of questions. It’s all a matter of perspective. I made up a little list, but that doesn’t mean you have to by any means.

#4 Most Alluring Attribute: A willingness to understand others’ lives
#3 Most Alluring Attribute: A Peaceful nature
#2 Most Alluring Attribute: Able to distinguish between Reality and Perception
#1 Most Alluring Attribute: Motivated to always make herself better

Yay for a whole week! Great idea. The funny thing is that I think I fit those attributes fairly well as a whole. Some are right on and some are more fringe characteristics (7,10). But I guess plenty of people fit at least half easily. Maybe I’ll figure out something Valentinesy to post later.
funny, i’ve been bashing this day for years. and now i don’t know what else to do. LoL.
hmm, alluring, i don’t know. lots of things can be alluring in certain ways. i made one of these lists once. it was a lot more than 10 though. i don’t think anyone would ever have gotten all of them. it’s a lot easier if there wasn’t so many though. i can think of a few people that meet all 10 of those.

I did see the pictures and considering the red dress, they were pretty Valentinesy pictures! Is Valentinesy a word though? Valentinesish, Valentination, Valentianated….

It’s a word I made up. I wrote it, so it’s in usage, so yes. I meant more of a post with more words for “something Valentinesy.” I haven’t gotten to it yet. I may just save the mush for a card.

Well you could say that a certain willingness to be lame is alluring. You could also say that a certain brilliance is also alluring. Other than that I got nothin…..
