ahh, you’ve turned into a Waakzaam monster since you’ve been away! *gets a squirt gun filled with grape juice and attacks*
*follows camille’s lead and run to buy some grape juice and a squirt gun*
glad to have you back!! don’t scare me like that again!
Waakzaamheid is dutch for ‘Vigilance’ by the way. It was a ship in one of the Aubrey/Maturin novels. Desolation Island I think, but I can’t remember. It was my favorite word for awhile.
I didn’t mean to scare you or anything. I just didn’t really have the energy to devote much creativity to Xanga. Probably 40% of my thoughts have been concentrated on learning everything I can about copyright law(remember when I was wondering if people could take my A.C. shorts a while back?) for work, 40% of my thoughts have been on the creative writing class, and then there’s been about 20% spread elsewhere, for instance Michael is graduating in a few weeks. Things like that.
People seemed to like ‘Joy’ by the way. A girl named Jennie, quiet as a mouse in class, really seemed to enjoy it. At the sisyphus thing she wrote, ‘Betcha this is so cool….if I knew what it meant.” It was funny though because at the end of her story a few weeks earlier she had a reference to ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ that I didn’t know and so I wrote a bunch of stuff like ‘Who has a cross to bear? Batnock? What kind of cross? Is this a religious reference? Help!!’ Anyways….
betcha maybe she likes you… if she’s generally quiet and attempts humor in a way that she doesn’t have to be loud about it and/or lots of people don’t see it, it might be a sign that she likes you. or least feels comfortable around you and could end up being a good friend. (it’s the quiet ones you gotta watch maybe not just be for pyscho killers.)
Well I’ve got so much going on with work that getting involved with someone probably wouldn’t be a smart idea right now. BUT, if she jumps me in the hallway at some point, I won’t object too much.
