1000 eProp Challenge
I’ve decided to post this story notice as a challenge. It’s not a new story by any means. In fact, it is the first story I ever wrote. The short story is titled, ‘Joy’ and I will give 1000 eProps to the first person who can correctly answer the following question after reading the story: “Who is Joy?”. That’s it. If you feel up for the challenge just send me your email somehow and I’ll send you the story and provide a little background information about it. Until somebody tells me who she is, I’ll bump this notice up once a month. Good Luck and Enjoy! It’s worth it, in my opinion.

Joy is a read-headed Jewish girl, but she does not live in a… Jewish way. She dates boys -no matter their religion, she engages in sexual activities -always afraid that her Dad would find out about it. She loves sports, although she often develops injuries from them. She is almost 6 feet tall and her blue eyes have the power of putting spells on men who looked into them. She is nice to her friends, but she is mean to people she barely knows. She lives in a pretty hermetic environment, but it does not bother her -because as simple as it sounds: she lacks self-awareness.
…but as M said in “Casino Royale” to James Bond: “arrogance and self-awareness seldom go hand in hand”.
@myhometownglory - “arrogance and self-awareness seldom go hand in hand”. I’m going to assume you’re talking about me here. The only reason why I say it’s going to be a challenge is because even I didn’t know what I wrote until a few months later and I reread it a couple of times. I just went…”ummm…okay…so that’s in there….” It just changed my whole perspective on the story. I’m just curious to see if I can find someone else who can see what I saw and go..”That’s interesting”. By no means am I looking for, “What a well written piece of work”, because it isn’t. It ends way too abrubtly and one of the main characters dies just because I thought it would make sense better than the first draft where she lived. I guess I’m not unlike you…just looking for someone who shares my perspective…..except in this case just a point of view in relation to a story I wrote in 2006.
Let me know if you want to read it. Oh and Joy’s last name is Verona so she’s Italian.
@Shadowrunner81 - Not talking about you, I was talking about Joy
@myhometownglory - Oh….lol. I spent all last night worrying about whether I was coming off as an arrogant idiot on my blog. So instead iIm just a tad ego-centric. lol.
@Shadowrunner81 - Yes My Dear, EVERYTHING IS JUST… ABOUT YOU!
