Schizable (Pete Earley)
Most of this blog article was in today’s USA Today. I will provide the link to the blog and you can read it for yourself. Pete Earley is an advocate for those with mental illnesses and he is taking the stand that the few who commit violence should not stigmatize the many others with mental illnesses who do NOT commit these kinds of acts. Yes, this article is spurred by the recent Colorado shootings and the fact that so many people are jumping on the ‘Oh he MUST be crazy’ bandwagon. Anyways……

Thanks for putting it out there that very few people with mental illness are violent, very low percentage. Too many wrong stigmas, it’s harsh.
It only takes a few crazies to make the crazies look bad.
